EarthUp began in 20XX as a casual group of people who were fed up with the trash left behind in local forests. As time went on, and the group became well known for employing effective ways of cleaning the local environment, the group decided to become a nonprofit organization and applied for nonprofit status in 20XX. Meanwhile, they also grew the programs they would offer and created a plan to take EarthUp nationwide.
